DR. MICHAEL BLOMFIELD
Hello! My name is Dr. Michael Blomfield. I was born in Peterborough, England, but consider myself a full Calgarian as I moved here when I was 2 years old. I completed my undergraduate degree in Physiology and Developmental Biology at Brigham Young University. I subsequently completed my medical degree as well as my family medicine residency at the University of Calgary.
In addition to my family medicine practice, I also work part-time at the emergency room in the Oilfields General Hospital in Diamond Valley and love acute care. I am committed to helping my patients in all aspects of their care, and assist them in leading a healthy and meaningful life.
Outside of working, I enjoy all forms of exercise and spending time with my family. My wife and I are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our first child in the next few months, and couldn't be more excited.
I'm excited to joint team at The Village Medical and be a part of a group dedicated to improving the wellbeing of the community.
DR LAURA HUBER
Hello! My name is Dr Laura Huber, I am originally from Saskatchewan and completed medical school at the University of Saskatchewan. I went on to complete my resident training in family medicine at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. Following that, my husband and I came to Calgary to be closer to family and to begin my career.
I love everything about being a family doctor and am thrilled to be a part of the team at The Village Medical. Some of my favourite things about family medicine include: being able to provide care for my patients throughout the different stages of their lives; supporting patients through both difficult and good times; and getting to really know my patients and their families. Some of my special interests include dermatology and mental health.
DR. INOKA AMARAKONE
Hello! I’m Dr. Amarakone. I’m originally from London, England, and have been practicing medicine since 2000. I first trained in pediatrics (child health) in the UK before completing my family medicine training and moving to Canada in 2008.
I have a special interest in child health, but I truly enjoy caring for patients of all ages.
My goal is to work together with you and your family to take a proactive, positive approach to your health and well-being. I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you on your health journey.
DR. DIANE KRAJEWSKI
Hello! My name is Dr. Diane Krajewski. I am originally from Mississauga, Ontario. I completed medical school at Trinity College Dublin in the Republic of Ireland and worked for a few years in general medicine in Ireland. In 2021, I moved to Southampton, United Kingdom to pursue a family medicine residency. Following completion of family medicine training, I worked for a year as a family doctor in England before relocating to Calgary to be close to my partner and family and to begin my career in Canada.
I am passionate about delivering high quality, patient centred care and am delighted to join The Village Medical family. I practice general family medicine with a special interest in care of the elderly.
I love getting to know my patients and their families and working alongside them to promote health and wellness.

HANNAH BECKER
PRIMARY CARE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH (PCBH) PROVIDER
Hannah obtained her Nursing degree while in a bridging program from University of New Brunswick in 2018 after working as an LPN for four years, and completed a focused practicum in Emergency Medicine. She joined the Primary Care Behavioral Health team in October 2023 with prior experience in Emergency Medicine and Community Outreach Nursing in Calgary.
She has extensive experience in the areas of outpatient mental health and substance use disorders. Hannah is looking forward to contributing to the implementation of the patients' medical home through team-based interactions, primary prevention, and application of population-based health approaches at the clinic level.

Hello, my name is Vishal Dodiya. Originally from London, UK, I bring over 18 years of leadership experience across the UK and Calgary, with a background in project management, communications, brand management, marketing, and sales.
I’m passionate about connecting with people and building meaningful relationships — something I’ve been fortunate to do throughout my career in both corporate and community settings.
